Bacon Wrapped Bananas

1.    Cut slice of banana that are equal to the width of the bacon. Wrap the bacon around the banana in one layer only, and secure with a toothpick.


2.    Mix up the sugar and blacken, making the "rub", set it aside 'till later.


3.    Heat a Teflon Fry pan to medium / high heat, add the oil, and then the bacon wrapped bananas. Cook, turning frequently until the bacon is about 3/4 done. Add the rub, being sure to coat all the pieces well. The sugar will melt and caramelize, while coating the bananas. Serve immediately.


4.    If you've got a grill going, these would be perfect if cooked on the grill. Just be sure to soak the toothpicks before you put these hors d'oeuvres together to keep them from burning.
