2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup, Grade "b", Dark Amber, optional
1. Melt the butter in a fry pan at medium high, then add the leftover ham slices, and cook until the ham is warmed up and has some color. Remove the ham, and keep warm.
2. Turn the heat to high, and add the coffee and blacken. Bring to a boil
3. I like my gravy a little thick, and just a little bit sweet, but it's not traditional. I'll add the maple syrup, then make a slurry of the Cold Coffee and the Cornstarch, and pour it into the pan. Cornstarch will only work, if you bring this mixture back to a boil.
4. Serve hot, with the Ham, Biscuits, and / or Grits.
