1. Soak the skewers in water for at least 1 hour before you use them. This will help keep them from burning after they're on the grill.

2. Begin by cutting the chicken into 3 thin pieces, then cut these pieces in half. Skewer, then dust with blacken.

3. Make up the Satay Sauce by mixing the BBQ Sauce, Soy Sauce, and Ginger together.

4. Have a hot fire going, and cook trying to leave the skewers off the heat. Cook 10 / 15 minutes, flipping and basting often.

4. Have a hot fir going, and cook trying to leave the skewers off the heat. Cook 10 / 15 minutes, flipping and basting often.

5. Serve warm.

6. An alternate way to cook these is in the oven.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

7. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper, and set the skewered chicken on top. Baste with the Satay Sauce and set in the oven for about 10 minutes. Flip them over, baste, and cook until done.

8. For both methods, you can baste with a little additional sauce just before serving.
