Standing Walrus


I grew up in an area that was an ethnic melting pot. I didn’t realize it at the time, but tasting the true flavors of all of those foods was an important experience.

I’m a self-taught chef that has spent the past 30 years learning all the tricks and tips that take standard fare to a whole new level.

In fact I was getting so many opportunities to cook outside my own galley that after much urging I've decided to turn something I love into my job.

Check out my Butt Kickin' Blacken. It's a GREAT Spice Blend that adds flavor, or heat, depending upon how much you use. I came up with this Spice Blend after being salted out by all of the Blackens available in my local graocery stores. It contains neither salt nor sugar, which permits you to cook to your own particular tastes. Try some, you'll love it.

In addition, you'll find some tasty Blacken Recipes that cover everything from light appetizers to entrées. There are even a few desserts for those with a sweet tooth or anyone looking to cool down after a round with some Cajun Shrimp.
