 Butt Kickin' Blacken

This seasoning blend is my Original Recipe Blackening Spice. Another name for it would be a Cajun or Creole Spice Blend. I use this blend on Pork, Chicken, and Seafood for that classic Cajun flavor.

Use a dusting for that slight hint of flavor, or add more to get the heat.

This is the first seasoning blend that I developed. If you've read the "About" page you'll know that I created it out of necessity, not because I was trying to make a blacken to sell. It works real well as a light or heavy dusting on any meat, as a rub (blackening), or you can add it to most anything else just to kick up the flavor.

Choose a Size

Blacken Seasonings are all about flavor. You can use them for Cajun Cooking, Tex-Mex, on a Grill, or in a Fry Pan. They're great on Chicken, Fish, Pork, Steak, Well just about everything. I quite often use my Steakhouse Seasoning with vegetables of potatoes.
